Our Employee Experience
Our values feed our great culture and it’s why we love what we do.
We are a fun group of people who work hard to achieve and take the time to play regularly to celebrate. Our culture is one of authenticity, open collaboration, continuous creation, customer centricity and is values driven. The friendliness and high energy levels of the team are constantly commented on by visitors as palpable, infectious and admirable.
We are large enough to have state-of-art technology and facilities but small enough so everyone can make a direct impact to our customers, product or service. We proudly work smart and move fast, free from bureaucracy and politics to ‘make it happen’ everyday.

Diversity & Inclusion
At hipages, we are really proud of our 50:50 gender diversity (which is almost unheard of in our industry) and we appreciate and welcome all differences. We believe our diverse and inclusive work culture greatly contributes to our success as a business and we understand that diversity in thinking plays a critical role in innovation and aligning to our customers and consumers experience.
One of our biggest learnings so far on our aspirational journey to be D&I thought leaders in the tech industry, is the importance of simply “understanding”. When we take the time to understand we are more accepting of each other, our differences and our backgrounds.
Our people come first. We want every employee to come into work as their true genuine self and most importantly, feel happy, be heard, respected and valued. We conduct regular employee pulse surveys followed by action teams who develop recommendations and oversee their implementation. We are a fast growing business and we know we need to be proactive in ensuring that our diverse and inclusive culture is not lost as we grow.
We want to take part in the wider societal push for gender diversity and increasing the pool of female talent, especially in technology roles. This is why we offer an annual scholarship for Women in Engineering with the University of NSW.
We have a dedicated Head of Diversity and Inclusion, Evelyn Brown who works in finance 4 days a week and dedicates 1 day ensuring we continue to push the diversity envelope and help realise real change.
