Inese Kingsmill
Chair
Over the course of a career spanning more than 25 years, Inese Kingsmill has earned a reputation as a growth-focused and customer-oriented business leader. Her executive experience spanned a broad spectrum of leadership accountabilities at Microsoft, Telstra and Virgin Australia.
Inese has been involved with and led major transformations across a range of scenarios including enterprise- wide business restructuring, culture change, digital transformations, customer experience and design, brand re-launches, as well as developing fit-for-purpose operating models.
Inese holds a Bachelor of Business, has completed an Executive Program in Digital Transformation at the MIT Sloan School of Management and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). She is a member of hipages’ Audit and Risk Committee and Remuneration and Nominations Committee.
Inese also currently serves as Non-Executive Director on the boards of NobleOak Life (ASX:NOL), Kinetic IT, Retail Employees Superannuation (REST), Bigtincan Holdings (ASX:BTH) and is the Chair of the Board of Sonder Holdings Pty Ltd.
Robert Sharon-Zipser
Chief Executive Officer & Director
Roby is the CEO, Co-Founder, and Executive Director of hipages Group. He has been a Director of the hipages Group Board since 2005.
He is an entrepreneur who creates and invests in thriving and durable businesses that challenge the status quo.
Roby has a passion for developing technologies that liberate others to free up their time for higher-value business activities. He instils this passion in the hipages Group team, driving the company’s purpose of transforming the trade industry, making better lives for everyone, and striving for continuous curiosity and professional growth.
Roby kickstarted the hipages Group journey in 2004, with the company’s founding business, hipages, inspired by the personal challenges of trying to renovate his own home. Fast forward to today and not only does Roby have extensive insight into tradie businesses, but he is also at the helm of a data powerhouse for the trade industry.
With a strong background in numbers, Roby has led his team to harness this data to create a unique industry map of opportunities, known as the hipages Group tradie ecosystem.
Nicholas Gray
Non-Executive Director
Nicholas Gray is MD and Publisher of The Australian & Prestige and MD of Tech Platform Partnerships.
Over his decade at News Corp Australia Nicholas has: led NCA’s relationships with Tech Platform Partnerships (Google, Meta, Apple, Amazon, TikTok, Microsoft, Open AI) since 2021; led NCA’s 1 million strong subscriptions business. Between 2013 and 2020 Nicholas was at various stages CEO of The Australian, MD of Prestige Titles (Vogue, Vogue Living and GQ), MD of NSW and Director of Transformation for NCA. He first joined News Corp in 2012 following the acquisition of Alan Kohler’s Business Spectator, of which he was GM and Publisher.
Before this, Nicholas was CFO & Strategy Director and then National Sales Director at during a four year stint at ninemsn (a former Nine | Microsoft joint venture). Prior to this, Nicholas was corporate strategy at Lion Nathan and was an investment banker at Citigroup in London and Tokyo and Macquarie Bank in Sydney.
Nicholas is non-executive director of hipages, ThinkNewsBrands and the University of NSW Foundation. Nicholas has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of NSW.
Adir Shiffman
Independent Non-Executive Director
Adir is an accomplished technology sector founder, investor, and the Executive Chairman of ASX-listed global athlete analytics business Catapult Sports (ASX:CAT).
A registered medical practitioner with a particular interest in subscription software, e-commerce and health technology, he has advised many of Australia’s largest companies, startups and early-stage companies on their online strategy and execution.
Adir holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Monash University.
Kate Mills
Non-Executive Director
Kate has broad experience in company mergers, acquisitions, contested takeovers (including Takeovers Panel matters), capital and debt raisings, continuous disclosure, and general corporate advisory work. Kate is a specialist in corporate governance and regulatory matters and investigations, including competition, FIRB, compliance and regulation of credit, financial markets and services, funds management, executive accountability regimes, licensing, and anti-money laundering/counter terrorism financing. Kate has been a partner of law firms King and Wood Mallesons and Gadens, a general counsel at iSelect Ltd and government body FASEA, senior in-house counsel to ASX (market and listing rules enforcement), and a senior policy adviser to the Federal Treasury in a variety of roles (including Head of the ASIC Enforcement Review Taskforce).
Kate has been rated in the IFLR 1000 internationally, and by peers as Best Lawyer in a variety of categories including Regulatory Practice, Financial Institutions, Tax & Accounting Law, Class Actions, and ADR & Litigation since 2008.
In addition to hipages, Kate has been the Chairman of the Board of Biennale of Sydney Ltd (since 2015). Previous roles included Director of ICLC Foundation Ltd and of the Refugee Advice & Casework Service.
Kate holds Bachelors of Arts and Laws.
Kate Hill
Independent Non-Executive Director
Kate is an experienced business advisor with over 30 years’ experience of working alongside privately owned and ASX listed early stage and scale up companies across the whole business cycle from start-up, turnaround, capital raising and growth through to exit via IPO and trade sale. A former senior partner and first female board member of Top 4 accounting firm Deloitte, she has in more recent years turned her focus and energies into Non-Executive Director roles and works with a range of emerging and growth entities, focussing on the technology sector and with a particular interest in med-tech businesses.
Kate’s current board roles include Chair of Seeing Machines Limited (LON:SEE) and Director of Count Limited (ASX:CUP), Artrya Limited (ASX:AYA) and MedAdvisor (ASX:MDR). She holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Bristol.
